A stain on richmond's shopping scene

New layout of paying when you leave has made this store harder to shop in! I've use Amazon fresh regular since they first opened and this one in particular is great for grabbing a coffee or meal deal before jumping on the train. The idea to move paying to the end of your shopping experience makes shopping here extremely difficult - especially with fresh coffees! I have nearly burnt myself having to hold while getting my phone or purse out to pay! There is no where to pop your groceries down to do this. I'll be thinking twice before popping in now unfortunately... Please reverse the paying experience so when you're hands are full of shopping you can Just Walk Out! P.s. staff here are super friendly and willing to help! But it's clear the new system is making their jobs harder not easier...

I just went to return an item, the shop I think is more like an upgraded news agent, not a lot of choice but the process of 'buying' of things is brilliant (I had to take a chocolate bar to see for myself)

I've been to the Amazon Fresh shop in Richmond twice now, and each time, there have been issues with the payments taken. On my 2nd visit, I bought a meal deal for £3.90, which I was charged for. However, there are also 2 pending payments for £4.05 and £2.90 showing on my bank account. Last time, these payments disappeared without extra money being taken. I'm hoping the same thing will happen on this occasion, too. But it is quite annoying and disconcerting to see these charges. Amazon needs to sort this out.

Grocery shopping done in 3 mins. This one is a small store with limited variety and products were a bit expensive but it has all the basics. The Amazon technology solves the problem of stressful check out experiences and long queues. We need more of these.

Great experience but the fresh food has very limited shelf life. Most items expire the next day. Otherwise amazing concept and super friendly staff
