Maybe I'm in the minority, but I found allegory just ok. The drinks were well presented, but nothing to write home about. The food wasn't very good at all. The oysters were so bad we sent them back and the chicken sandwich was edible, but we all felt Popeyes chicken sandwich was far superior. Service was friendly, but slow. Prices were pretty high and they add service fees. I probably won't go back, but if someone really wanted to go, I'd eat somewhere first and order a simple classic drink.
Had some amazing cocktails made by Julio. At first I was a little skeptical especially going to places that someone random recommended but my cocktails were amazing. Only thing I didn’t like was not having certain cocktails on the menu ready due to their prep and that not being communicated in a better manner. Every time I would pick something I was then told they don’t have it and this happened multiple times in a span on 10 minutes.
Probably the best bar in the DMV. Their cocktail menu is exquisite and the staff is very friendly. Order an “Army Navy” - you won’t regret it.
22% AUTOMATIC GRATUITY is disgusting. Just increase all your prices by 22% or something, jeez. These restaurants are just scammers at this point.
