Allegory is the acclaimed, genre-redefining cocktail bar at the Eaton DC hotel in Washington, D.C. We are the first bar to blend art, literature, social justice, craft cocktails, and hospitality. Allegory is hidden behind a door in the hotel’s Radical Library. No reservations. First come, first serve. If you’re visiting Allegory on a Friday or Saturday, expect a significant wait to get in. Average wait times on the weekend is 1.5 - 2 hours. Parties 9 or larger must make prior arrangements. See our website for more information. Maximum 4 evenly split checks. 22% service charge is applied to every check. That charge goes directly to then staff working that evening. If wish the have the charge removed, simply ask the staff.
