Without a doubt one of the worst curries I've had in a long time. The chicken was incredibly dry and tough, the curry lacked any depth of flavour. The garlic naan stated 'topped with fresh garlic'. When it came, it was quite clearly a large blob of jarred minced garlic that was in the centre. The pilau rice tasted of nothing, literally nothing. My partner had a chicken breast stuffed with cashews etc. This was just a dry tough overcooked chicken breast that tasted like pure sugar. I understand this place has won awards but for what? I cannot understand. Really dispointed to say the least. Drove half an hour to try this place. I've honestly had better microwave curries. Do yourself a favour, Go to an authentic curry house not somewhere to take photos to post on Instagram.

ANOTHER REVIEW; thought would give a second chance after manager advised would "look after us" on next visit...Opening night 4/04/24.... all we can say is nothing has changed... apart from decor. The service from get go was diabolical apart from the owner sitting us immediately then nothing... all staff standing around the bar giggling took 10 minutes for a drink order for just 2 of us. Drinks priced very reasonably (if there was a star for cost would be higher). We ordered the Thali starter for 2 ... Samoa was lovely... everything else well overdone.. chicken was left as very tough (I could see the waitress take this to the bar then all retreat around the corner), no table check for our first half hour, mains come... we used to love all the dishes so we ordered our chicken thala and my chef special... both tasted the same, sauces tasted like it had been from a "powdered" form, very similar, and thick. We ate hardly anything. Waitress again asked nothing, 20 minutes after finishing while they were still nattering around the corner we decided to get up and pay whilst dirty dishes still on the table. We felt as though we were being watched as we saw all the actions and we complained as a table of 4 before about the food, manager came and asked if everything was OK even though he had been absent all night apart from welcoming, I advised I would pay the full amount but would not be returning. How many chances do you need to give? Overall, drinks are really good for their price and quality, food VERY mediocre not much flavour and needs to be looked at and staff training is a must! For an opening night after a refurb we were truly disappointed in the service.. well lack off. They just want a laugh and a joke not the service we expect after spending £70 for 2 people in a restaurant that would easily achieve this If the food and service improved drastically. Other points: toilets... gents one urinal not been refurbished and full of chewing gum and cubical totally closed ... patio area... went for a cigarette... full of empty paint cans total mess! if your doing an opening night have your venue ready. DENFINATLY a change of chef if needed and a shake up of training for staff as they are getting paid to natter, eat and have a laugh I could see alot of fed up tables.

Normally a really good place to eat in or for a take away, but tonight they delivered late and it was cold food. I recommend not ordering a take away here on Friday or Saturday nights as they must be to busy and make mistakes like this.

Nice place, nice food, attentive friendly staff. Nan bread comes cut, my personal preference is whole. Curry served in ceramic bowls instead of traditional curry dishes. My personal preference is traditional steel curry dishes.

Great service. Beautiful food and lovely venue. A very tasty Indian meal with plenty of options.
