My server was sweet but another server decided to insert himself in a situation that had absolutely nothing to do with him concerning my food I did not enjoy. I ordered the shrimp and steak fajita I did not eat my food however he told me he would not take it off the bill and that he would replace what I didn’t like with something else.he assumed I ordered a 3 combo meal - when in actuality I had a 2 combo. I asked for the manager - she came and told me the guy server told her I ate half my food and tried to send it back. I ate 3 shrimp that were bland and had plenty of food still on my plate that I did not touch because the food was under seasoned. She told me I had to pay for an order or shrimp because that’s what was eaten . The guy was super rude and very sassy . The customer service was trash. The manager did not come and correct the situation or offer me anything other than having to pay for the shrimp. I would never visit this location again

The beef enchiladas were tender and savory, while the chicken enchiladas were succulent and well-seasoned. The authenticity of the Mexican flavors was evident in every bite. The portion sizes were generous, satisfying our cravings without leaving us overstuffed. The service was prompt and friendly, enhancing our overall dining experience. We highly recommend trying the enchiladas at Alero for a delightful taste of Mexican cuisine with colorful wall designs.

Leonardo was very attentive and serve us quickly and very efficient. The matrimonio frozen margarita is delicious. As per mi wife. The best quesadillas!

Very good food and fast service, but bring earplugs. It is loud in there.

Despite the bustling atmosphere, she assisted with bussing our table, kept our drinks replenished, and ensured our food was prepared perfectly. Karol's dedication to customer service was evident, and her professionalism and genuine care for guests truly stood out. It's clear that Karol deserves recognition for her exceptional performance, including both a well-deserved vacation and promotion. Thanks to Karol's efforts, my family and I are eager to return to Alero for another memorable dining experience. I highly recommend Alero to anyone seeking delicious food and outstanding hospitality.

Blown away by the flavors and seasoning. Everything is uniquely prepared, as if it all comes from different specialty kitchens! And where most restaurants resort to over-salting, Alero resorts to lime juice and lemon juice. Makes the most mundane dishes (like rice!) perfectly sublime. Thank you, Alero.

I’m lucky I can walk to this spot, but if I didn’t, I’d still have to say these are the best margaritas in DC. Don’t sleep on the blackberry and passion fruit frozen margs! Ask for Joel!
