Akira Ramen & Izakaya

I love this place. The ramen is comforting and delicious. Not as good as ramen on the west coast, but I can't complain for Columbia, Maryland! Surprisingly, the chicken katsu is out-of-this-world; there's something for everyone on this menu. Highly recommend!

Decent food. Sashimi was very fresh. It won’t take any dinner reservations. But luckily it was a rainy day, no waiting

I got a little confused at the front door. They had a machine that takes orders but only take out orders. Don't do what I did and order from it if you wanted to sit down and eat. Other than that, the food was great. I had a tonkotsu miso ramen and gyoza. FINALLY a Japanese place that does gyoza right!! They wear both filling and delicious. I'll definitely be coming back and order correctly next time!!

Great spot! Went for a birthday dinner and the food and service were both amazing! 100% recommend!!! If you go here I would definitely recommend any of the ramens as the portions are humongous and whatever you can’t finish you are able to take home.
