Great noodle options. Ingredients were very fresh, and the broths well balanced.
This is one of our favorite go to places for authentic Japanese food! We come here to celebrate birthdays and most recently a graduation. It's a great place for a date for two or even large parties since they have a large room in the back. The quality of their food and service is top notch. Our family has frequented Akebono since they opened and have never been disappointed.
Sesame chicken was really good as was the rainbow roll. Teri beef was a little tough but tasty. A bit pricier than other japanese restaurants in the area, but servings were pretty big so we had two meals with leftovers . Parking: We were dining early so there was plenty of spaces. That lot can get pretty full during the day, but street parking is close too.
So this is my 2nd time visiting this place, and again it was amazing. The food is fresh, delicious and flavorful. I came on a Saturday afternoon there was a lot of people. The yakisoba was delicious and heavy portion. Champon noodle was so good. The employees are nice and I appreciated that. As far as the price, it’s reasonable price.
01/27/24-I had the Katsu Curry. The curry was wretched, flavorless and tons of thickener. Do not order it!!
The Katsu Don was delicious. The service was good. They have a large dining area split up into 2 rooms. Highly recommend.
