Our Beginnings and Growth Akai Hana started as a small restaurant with only 40 seats in 1986, and quickly became known as a great place to get authentic Japanese food. Before long, we became so popular we moved into our present location, which seats 130. Now, thousands of loyal customers make Akai Hana a regular destination. The Food – Outstanding!
