Across the Pond

Great all round, very friendly and accommodating staff!

I think we came in right before closing, which I hate and try not to do, but we tried to hurry. They still served us, which was so amazing and kind of them. The food was amazing. Really great place to sit and talk and eat.

The Bar Staff and the atmosphere was great and the drinks were a great price. If you are going for the food, that’s something that you may want to consider. I had the wings, worst wings I have ever seen in my life. Gordon Ramsey would have a field day with the quality of the food. I would certainly go back for the atmosphere and the the friendly bar staff, but I would certainly eat somewhere else first.

The fries were good. The sliders were overcooked and really dry. The service was slow (albeit pleasant). Even when I offered to pay for it, she was really stingy with the ranch dressing... which those dry sandwiches desperately needed. The atmosphere was loud and boisterous! Definitely not my cup of tea. One and done.

Fun Irish Pub a short walk from the Washington Hilton. Good Irish dishes, beer, and wine.
