I was pretty disappointed especially after arriving with high hopes since this place came recommended by a fellow foodie. The food was in my opinion hit or miss, which I think was also a product of what we ordered (a lot of vegetables, it felt like salad after salad). The broccolini tasted excellent, though it was a little too crispy for me. There's not much the restaurant can do to fix ordering the wrong mix of plates. The balkava was clearly homemade and one of the best I have had in my life. One of the drinks tasted a little watered down though the other was amazing. Our waiter was excellent, friendly, and very good at his job. What stood out as the highlight of the night, unfortunately, was the surprise 3% credit card charge noted only at the bottom of the final bill. It was nowhere on the menu, the website, nor posted at the door. I don't typically carry $100+ in cash around with me, and to get surprised like this at the end of the meal was disappointing. It felt sleezy and a money grab for the owners. We brought it to the attention of our waiter who called the manager over. She understood the disappointment but did nothing to fix it. Please keep that in mind when you see a response below asking me to bring it to the attention of the manager/owner. We did and it was not resolved. For the price vs the food and experience you get, there are other places we would rather take our business. Vegetarian options: At least half of the options are vegetarian friendly
If I could give it 6 stars I would; perfect dining experience. The food is phenomenal, cocktails are outstanding, atmosphere is charming, and the service is perfect. A perfect date night spot. The food is served in a shareable size, so each item can typically be split by two people, it takes roughly 3-4 items to satisfy a person; this makes for a fun dining experience mixing and matching the different dining options. Pictured are Bay Scallops and Cashew Shortrib. Ricotta and Honey is a MUST TRY; no picture because I couldn’t resist eating it!! Parking: Mercer Parking Garage is one block to the north.
I had high expectations for this place. The famous octopus dish was a little too salty for our liking. Also, the shortrib was tough and chewy, and we didn't enjoy it. However, the Baklava was really delicious. Other than the food, the service was ok. We would have felt cozier if the servers smiled a little. Given that it is a fine dining place, I was surprised to find one of our plates chipped on the side. Also, there's an additional 3% charge for card transactions.
Wide variety of options, we chose different dishes to share and all of them were fantastic. Good service, good food and great atmosphere.
All of the food was absolutely delicious, but the hummus was jaw droppingly good. Our server was great! Great atmosphere.
Delicious food, different flavors, beautiful gourmet cuisine. A combination of Mediterranean, morrocan, frenchy touch.
