Just spent $72 fir (3) 1/3 pound ??? burgers and tea that were slightly larger than a slider..... Up'd the price and reduced the food serving... WAY TOO EXPENSIVE
Great burgers + AWESOME O-rings !!
excellent desserts
Great food and laid back atmosphere. Love to come out on Sundays for a burger and a beer
Stopped in today for lunch. We had the fried pickles & fried jalapeños to start. They were really good! They were both breaded the same, a light breading, and were served with ranch dressing. My wife ordered the southwestern egg rolls and I ordered the chicken fried steak with Mac and cheese and Pinto beans. The egg rolls were obviously the frozen, store bought variety, as I suspect the chicken fried steak patty was. The only reason I'm not sure about the chicken fried steak patty is because it had SO much gristle in it. I've never seen a frozen patty with this much gristle, but it could be a really cheap one. The Mac and cheese was the boxed variety. Maybe Kraft or Great Value brand. I was pretty shocked that they would serve boxed Mac and cheese. And I'm not talking about the shells and cheese either. This was the really cheap stuff.
I would go back for the fried pickles and fried jalapeños if I just happened to be in the area, but I wouldn't waste the money (and this place is FAR from inexpensive) or time on anything else there.
Photos are what I imagine they used for our lunch. They probably used something cheaper than Tyson though. Does Dollar Tree sell frozen chicken fried gristle patties? 🤔🙄
The BBQ was bad, not sure because it was a Sunday or in general
I had a hunch this place was the real deal the moment I stepped out of my truck. The aroma of freshly smoked meat mixed with sweet and tangy BBQ flavor inundated the gravel parking lot. A scent so overwhelmingly captivating, I couldn’t help but follow it to its source. I walked through the front doors of 902 and was immediately greeted by a charismatic waiter who promptly served us drinks. The menu was concise, yet powerful. Along with the atmosphere, all menu items complemented a cold beer and a sports game. I went with the brisket grilled cheese sandwich, served on 100% USDA Texas Toast. Mouthwatering is an understate, to say the least. After I consumed my fair share in cheesy caloric delight, the owner came out and greeted us with a warm smile, and freshly smoked chicken. My favorite part about this establishment is its commitment to keeping things simple, yet refining its craft through friendly employees, quality ingredients, and a home town feel. I look forward to my next visit.
Worst food ever, waitstaff was rude, paper plates, never again.
