70's Saga Ramen & Curry

Food is great, ambiance is amazing and the service is great too. We would definitely be back.

I took my girlfriend here expecting a nice diner, but it wasn't that convincing. I got black ramen which chashu( sliced pork) was death cold , I'm not Japanese but I can tell when something looks good. This was my first time having ramen with cold meat. Never had anything alike before from so many ramen shops. My girlfriend ordered kastu curry , which we truly believe that was not made curry but instant curry, so disappointed , . In our personal opinion when anyone goes to a place to eat, when the food is good no matter which day or time we go, if food is good , is good period. I would probably recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a taste and give their own opinion . Thanks Parking: Night time plenty, not sure in day time

Bad food. Bad service. Way too expensive. Don’t waste your time here. The big lady with glasses at the cash register acts like your an inconvenience to her. She made a Thai tea 90% milk. It was disgusting, the worst thai tea I ever had in my life. The food is mediocre & it looks like it comes premade from a frozen bag. If you’re not going to have good food, then at least have good service, pick a struggle.

The large lady had like a rude vibe to her. On the phone and in person. Idk maybe having a bad day, no big deal not here for her. The food, Almost glorified cup of noodles and small portions. 2 pieces of meat, noodles and half an egg. Taste was very bland and had to add my own spices to it. No shade to them. Just do better.

Owner is VERY rude, doesn’t respond to reviews kindly. Instead of accepting constructive criticism (which is valid as the food made me sick), they would rather insult their customers. Look at their responses to others reviews.

So good 10/10

Tried their ramen and we liked it. Good for their prices. Vibe is nice too. Will come back to try more.

Scroll down and look at how the owner reply to the negative responses. Spiteful and petty. There are definitely bad customers that exist out there, But if the owner can't be professional and handle negativities then it speaks volume about how amateur the place is. I was going to leave a semi-positive review, but after reading the review section... It was confirming that this place is no good. On top of all this, I felt sick after eating here, the fishes aren't right. I think I got food poisoning, and still have stomach pain days after. I already scheduled a doctor visit and going to talk to my lawyer afterward as well.

I love ramen saga! I the tonkotsu soups all of them but black is my fav. I was so sad when they closed during covid I was searching other ramen places but none compared! My nephew comes here every year for his birthday. Also what is the dark red chili paste called? I need to buy my own. Thank you!
