Glad this place closed - I'm guessing they got shut down by the board of health. Food poisoning central. 3 of us met there for dinner - all 3 of us ended up very sick within an hour of dinner, most likely from one of the appetizers. BTW, all 3 of us are dr's so we know what food poisoning is. It's a tourist trap anyway so no reason to go there.
I'm giving them a 5 star from the last time I was there for lunch with my wife. We returned there on 7/5/23 and there was a sign on the door RENOVATION in progress. January 2024 completion. So there you have it. See you next year 400 Beach.
Danny is a very rude arrogant server. I was really appalled with the staff completely. The hostess even said specifically that "on one ever" uses the sidewalk table I sat on. They were very slow. I even had to ask for water, serval times. I had Requested salt and pepper before I had that too. Then I wanted to get dessert and a cappuccino, and Danny just ignored me while I was waving him down. SO I WENT NEXT DOOR, and bought my coffee. I also had to break a $20 so that the cash I left was the EXACT AMOUNT with ZERO tip and the written note on the receipt that Danny was a jerk . . . WOW, Sad to say the Salad was great! So we have an awesome Chef here, who I avoid now because of rude staff . . . pitty . . . The pathetic fool even dropped a glass on the public sidewalk and then left it there for 10 minutes. I got up and moved a chair over it as people walk by all day. "NO Thank you," but a snooty look when he finally came to clean it up.
This is a place right down by the water, so it has a nice view and tables outside. The atmosphere is nice. The food is just OK. I had a brick salad with bib lettuce and citrus vinaigrette. The salad was good. I also had the Salmon with asparagus only. The Salmon was fishy, bland and over done on the outside and rare on the inside. I usually like my salmon medium rare, so it is slightly underdone on the inside to prevent it from drying out. But this was raw on the inside and flavorless and overcooked on the outside. My husband had tuna tartare. He said it was tasty and he would order it again. He wanted something cool and refreshing and this hit the spot. Overall, it was enjoyable, but we will try somewhere different next time.
Wonderful food and staff. We had a sampling of several things including the Parker rolls, tuna tartare, grouper tacos, and truffle fries. Everything was so delicious and our server May was excellent. Parking: Free valet with ticket validation from the hostess
Best red snapper I’ve ever had, super fresh. Every dish we ordered was delicious. The service was excellent as well.
