The food was awesome and service outstanding. Facility is smaller than expected. Yet, definitely a go-to dinner.
Great Food loved the fries
The only reason I gave it two stars is because I like the atmosphere and the staff was nice. I ordered the Peacemaker and my oysters were rubbery, they were just over cooked. The gumbo was probably the worst gumbo I have ever had. I ordered a cup and a cup of rice with maybe two tablespoons of gumbo in it. No okra, nothing. Now we were a group of seven people and all had red beans and rice. Seven cups of red beans and rice cost fifty six dollars. You would think when seven people leave their cups of red beans and rice, you would think except for one bite the waiter (the older guy in the LSU shirt) might ask why we fifty six dollars worth of red beans and rice. But no. I am sorry if I never go there again I won't mind. These three families will tell everyone about this experience.
The shrimp grits are magnificent, but the voodoo nachos are salty. I think it's because they use voodoo potato chips instead of nachos. If they switch, it would be stellar!
I have eaten here numerous times over two months with my wife. Every time we go we find a new item that blows our minds. 2 Crazy Fellas is one of our favorite places to grab a taste of New Orleans.
It genuinely might be my favorite restaurant in the olive branch/Southaven area. It’s family owned, ownership, service, and the atmosphere is awesome, food is homemade and is always amazing. I specifically recommend their catfish, and shrimp etouffee.
Excellent food and service here, highly recommended this place for singles or families.
