What a change in just a few months. The first couple of times we visited, everything was great, but the last few times, it has really been bad. The last time, we ordered 2 slices of cake, and they both tasted old and dry. My cake came with an added surprise of a small piece of white plastic. It looks like the tip of something. Also, the counter employee did not speak English at all, so it was very difficult to actually make the order. Because a family member has a deadly nut allergy, it is imperative for me to be able to ask ingredient questions. None of the ingredients are listed on any of the items, which seems like a huge safety issue.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Zocalo Deli Mexican Bakery and the doughnuts are absolutely amazing! The store is beautiful and clean. There are so many different pastries to choose from and I chose a traditional style doughnut with icing and sprinkles and it was fantastic! The prices are great and the customer service is great as well. This is a wonderful addition to Danville and I recommend everyone check out Zocalo Deli Mexican Bakery!

It's been years since I've had Mexican sweetbreads and this place does it very well! Their baked goods are delicious, the staff is friendly and the price excellent! I definitely recommend!!

Stopped on the way home from the western VA. Delicious and reasonably priced!
