Zindiya Streatery & Bar

Disappointing.. Been here three times and the food is just average. Gone backwards. So many other places offering much better flavoursome dishes. The first time I came was with my wife when it first opened. Thought it was good, but not good enough to return quickly. Then I came with friends last year and it wasn't bad, but I wasn't feeling the wow factor. Nephew was visiting and wanted to go to Moseley village and after a last minute ring round this was the only place not fully booked... you can guess why! We had starters and decided not to order mains and left.

A bit bland for me. Fresh though.

Ordered from Zindiya after friends recommended, but I was quite disappointed. Samosa chaat and aloo tikki chaat were average to be honest we have had better. Dosas were the worst, sambhar tasteless and coconut chutney seemed off in taste. Would never go back again or order again.

Lovely restaurant with a good selection of very tasty dishes & drinks. Good service and friendly staff. Cool atmosphere as well

Was too busy eating to take proper photos of the food... sorry. Excellent veggie and vegan selection, the paneer tikka was exceptional, the dosa was crispy and the sambhar was divine!! Would highly recommend this place, the music is great and matches the old Indian decor. I will be trying the High Chai next time, a cool pot of hot chai, served with bombay sandwiches and other savoury and sweet treats, it looked amazing. Vegetarian options: Loads of options, more veg than non veg on the menu!

1st time here and Needless to say we'll be back!! The food was amazing, the atmosphere and decor is brilliant. However, the only thing that let it down from getting a full house of 5 stars is the service. Whilst I appreciate the staff work hard, to add a 12% service charge to the bill and then get annoyed when asked to remove it is not acceptable.
