Zin Bistro Americana

I coming back to this jewel. I decided to try something different on the menu - tacos with asparagus on the side. Great combo. The taco meat was juicy, moderately spicy (requested that way). The asparagus was cooked to perfection. Too often asparagus is too hard from other restaurants. But Zin gets it right. The ambiance / view is so peaceful one could fall asleep at the table. Today's servers were a tad distant and more distracted than usual. Must be the weather. Don't miss out on this great restaurant at the Westlake Village Marina in Westlake Village, Calif next to Thousand Oaks in Ventura County. Parking: Wheel chair accessible. Ground level. No stairs.

Very scenic spot for lunch. The food was good but the prices are high and the portions are small.

Be sure to try Iceberg wedge salad!

Very expensive for the setting and the food. It has a good view of the lake, that's it. We were a large group. Food came very slow and the drinks were average too. Not worth the money. 20% gratuity is auto included in the bill whether you like the service or not!

The atmosphere and view of the lake was awesome. However, the food was disappointing to say the least. I ordered the braised short rib and it was drowned in extremely oily sauce. The vegetable risotto was undercooked and parts of the rice were still crunchy. The chicken fried lobster pretty much had no lobster and was mostly over-fried breading. The price for the quality of the food was atrociously overpriced. If I were to ever come here again it would only be to have some drinks at the bar and listen to the live music.

I went over to celebrate my birthday with my family. They have lovely environment with live music. Good service nice people but definitely they have to change the chef. The fish that we order comes dry The ceviche was over cook look like it was sitting on the refrigerator The food test without any inspiration I’m very sorry to say that, but I want this place get success

I stopped there for lunch, and I must say, the view was absolutely amazing. However, I found the service to be quite mediocre, and the waitress seemed unfriendly. Additionally, my wine was served twice with crumbs of crocks floating in it, which was rather off-putting. As for my lunch, it was very disappointing. To add to my disappointment, there was hair on the plate across from me, but the waitress never bothered to clean it. Overall, it was not a pleasant dining experience.
