El servicio destacò frente a la comida, con una carta ajustada en variedad, ninguno de los platos que pedimos brillo en sabor.

We were dining at 7.30 so quite early and therefore next to no-one else there. Main issue is we ordered the whole baked Turbot, the fresh fish shown to us looked great, but once "cooked" the staff gathered at a nearby table which seemed to be a training exercise in how to fillet and present such a fish. This was disappointing as we wanted to take the flesh off the bone ourselves. Anyway after some time, the dishes were presented to my wife and I. Unfortunately despite all the attention, part of the fish was clearly not cooked. We let them know, they apologized, took them away and brought them back some 15 minutes later. It was just barely properly cooked but we ate most of it. By this time our appetite was off. The owner appeared and through a translator appeared to make the case that it was like rare meat, but cooking whole fish is not at all like cooking beef. Sorry for the long story. We were charged 86 euro for the fish dish alone.I certainly will not return and suggest you avoid.

Buen restaurante vasco en Madrid. La declaración tradicional, aunque sí que podría estar un poco más trabajada. Aún así, a un restaurante se va a comer y la comida es muy buena. La carne muy recomendable.

Hacia años que no iba y no es que me encantara, es que estaba en mi casa recordando con la dueña a mis padres , ya no están con nosotros. Pero era una felicidad la que sentía que parecía que estaba con ellos. Gracias por su trato entrañable aparte de super profesional, la calidad del producto, ¡¡¡cómo estaban esas primeras piparras de la temporada, de arañarse!! porque de hecho fuimos los primeros en probarlas después del beneplácito de la matriarca. ¡¡Ufff!! Las alubias....y la carne ....como siempre espectacular. Da gusto volver a los restaurantes de siempre y volver a reencontrarlos con el mismo recuerdo...o mejor todavía. Mi mas ferviente enhorabuena .

Apuesta segura en Madrid. Muy cerca de las Cortes pero sin que huela a chorizo. La dueña es un encanto. Recomendable siempre el pescado del día.
