This is a very striking and pure Grüner Veltliner from the Carnuntum region of eastern Austria. Wonderfully expressive and mineral-driven.

A blend of grapes from the 2019 and 2020 vintages of which the 2019 was aged for 2 years in barrel and the 2020 was aged for 1 year in stainless steel. Lots of citrusy alongside some biscuity notes.

A dry, floral, and delicately balanced Riesling grown at the foot of Ortenburg Castle.

Sourced from the Grand Cru vineyard of Hengst in Alsace the grape Pinot Auxerrois is not allowed in the Grand Cru despite coming from the vineyard. Luscious and layered with a hint of honey in the finish.

A biodynamic Riesling sourced from two plots of 50 year old vines planted on gravel and limestone soils. Delightfully balanced with wonderful concentration and a mineral undercurrent this will shine with a vast array of dishes.

Sourced from the Rittersberg vineyard which is overlooked by Chåteau de l'Ortenbourg in France's Alsace. Slightly smokey on the nose the wine itself is rich and full-bodied, with a palate rich in ripe pears. The finish is long and complex, highlighting the beauty of the terroir from which this wine is made.

Fresh, tart, and and deliciously thirst-quenching. This carbonically macerated Gamay from Fleurie is bursting with juice-like flavors of pomegranates and cherries. Both chillable and chuggable, this wine is made to be drunk young, often, and with friends.

A fleshy ripe Gamay made from old vines planted in 1926. The tannins are rich and the core is pure concentrated fruit with a crack of fresh black pepper.

Pierre Chermette makes his Crème de Cassis from small, intensely flavored blackcurrants that grow in close proximity to his Beaujolais vineyards. This cassis is made without coloring or preservatives and it has wonderful concentrated aromatics. Perfect for a Kir, although it's good enough to have on its own!

Chateau Belles-Graves is an idyllic estate whose vineyards were first mentioned in the 16th century. The estate has been owned by the Theallet family since the 1930s. This wine is a blend of Merlot and Cabernet France, the wine is marked by its elegance and finesse with fantastic complexity.

A wonderful blend of 55% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 15% Cabernet Franc. This is a fresh and floral wine aromatically, with a dry palate with blue and black fruit alongside a plum richness.

This wine comes from Cos d'Estournel's La Goulee vineyard. Well perfumed with eucalyptus, raspberry, and rich cacao beans.

This is a silky and elegant expression blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Flowing from cherries and red berries to blackberries this is a great weeknight, Bordeaux.

A blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc from famed St.Emilion producer Chateau Angelus. This new cuveé is meant to be approachable in its youth and serves as a wonderful introduction to the Angelus.

Made from a blend of mostly Sémillon, some Sauvignon Blanc, and a splash of Muscadelle, this wine is beautifully balanced, fresh, clean, and crisp. Wonderfully food-friendly, pair with seafood and poultry.

A perfectly structured Pinot Noir from the Premier Cru vineyard Aux Vignes-Rondes in Nuits-St.-Georges. Excellent ripeness of the fruit with youthful, dry tannins.

Another excellent red Burgundy from Bruno Clavelier. La Combe Brulee is located just east of Bruno's monopole, La Montagne. The vines from La Combe Brulee are 85 years old, and the 2017 vintage is very finely detailed and masculine.

Pinot Noir from the Santenots parcel, one which is marked by its red limestone soil and south-facing slope. The wine has superb concentration and demonstrates quickly why the Glantenay's are quickly emerging as some of the best producers in the Côte-de-Beaune.

She manages the organic and biodynamic estates where the grapes for this Chambolle-Musigny are lovingly grown and cared for, and then picked by hand. Her wines are always densely packed with all of Pinot Noir's best flavors: plum and blackcurrant, mushrooms and spice. Passetoutgrain, which loosely translates to "throw it all in" is a blend of Gamay and Pinot Noir that is increasingly rare in Burgundy. It makes a delicious, uncomplicated field blend that is fresh and fruity. Michel Lafarge uses old vines, planted in 1926, for this bottling.

The selection of remarkable fruit from predominantly 1er Cru vineyards is expressed in the sheer balance of this wine. Beautiful minerality carried by notes of pear, apple, and a touch of ripe pineapple.

When the Marsannay village appellation was created in 1987, only the southern part of Chenôve was included, and Le Chapitre was left out, classified only as a "Bourgogne" wine. Irregardless of the lack of classification, this wine showcases the classic beauty of the Côte de Nuits. Elegant fruit with gracefully dark floral tones give way to an underlying gaminess that is wild, poised, and beautiful.

A sensational gem from a historic domaine, located in Petit Chablis, near Champagne. The vines are planted in Portlandian soil, offering an intriguing aroma of white flowers, bright citrus, and savory mineral notes.

An idiosyncratic Chablis from an idiosyncratic producer. Piuze's '21 Cornasse is more concentrated than the year previous while still retaining Chablis' signature acid and precision of fruit. Pair with skate.

The wines of Patrick Piuze are always striking and this is no exception. "Vaillons-Les Minots" is sourced from a single parcel of 70-year-old vines. A rich palate with bright acidity and minerality makes this incredibly satisfying now and it will only get better with age.

Sourced from the sub-region of Vaulorent this site is North-facing and is usually one of the last which Piuze harvests. Crisp citrus, and ginger with a punchy mineral backbone and savory finish. This wine will benefit from some air or cellar aging.

This particular cuvee is made from vines plated back in 1974. The rows are planted from east to west and thus, the grapes never have direct contact with the sun, resulting in a very fresh Chablis!

Champagne Christian Gosset is a new project from one of Champagne's finest winemakers. The Gosset Family's recorded history of making Champagne in the village of Aÿ goes back to 1584! The Brut A01 is an 80/20 blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay and is the first assemblage of this series.

This is a very charming Extra Brut from the Aube region of Champagne. One of our driest Champagnes in the shop. 50% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay, and 25% Pinot Blanc aged for 2.5 years on the lees and finished with 3 grams of dosage.

Medium to full-bodied this is an elegant and fleshy Champagne with racy acidity.

Organically farmed and hand harvested this wine is a blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay. Bright, full-bodied and remarkably complex.

The beautifully light, almost transparent hue of this wine gives you a glimpse into how lovely this wine is. Fine-boned but with steely minerality, this Corsican rose is one of our favorites of the summer--it has us swooning!

A rich golden Savagnin that has been aged under flor, beeswax, and walnuts lead a palate that is akin to sherry in its complexity. A beautiful wine that will dazzle lovers of Jura, it will also be the perfect partner to a well-aged Comté.

A blend of mostly Chardonnay with a little bit of Savagnin, this classic Jura style of wine is done in an oxidative style, maturing under a layer of flor yeast. Rich, full-bodied with warm nutty aromas, this is the perfect thing to pair with a hunk of aged Comte.

Laurent Macle's non-oxidative (ouille) Cote du Jura where the empty space In the barrel is topped up via a process called ouillage. More fresh, lively, and vibrant than his traditional and oxidative style of Cotes du Jura.

100% Chardonnay done in a fresher topped up style as opposed to the usual oxidized style you find in Jura. Clean, focused, and tremendously fresh.

This Minervois is one of our favorite weeknight reds for its freshness and vitality. The acidity is bright, owing to the cooler climate at high elevation in the mountain vineyards, and the fruit, which includes blueberry and blackberry notes, is all elevated by the herbal notes of garrigue. A fine example of the southern French terroir!

The Sentinelle de Massiac is a blend of Syrah and Carignan that delivers exceptional value. The region of Minervois might be one of the best kept secrets in southern France. The organically grown grapes give flavors of garrigue, herbs, red and black fruits, and a little bit of tart acidity. If you love Cotes du Rhone, please give this a try.

The Guégniard family has been making wine for seven generations, and at least four have been spent at Domaine de la Bergerie. Currently run by Yves Guégniard and his family chiefly his daughter Anne who is working to make the entire Domaine organic. This blend of Grolleau, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon grown in Anjou is full-bodied and dry with notes of strawberries and brioche.

Elegant, full, and richly textured. This wine has beautiful, ripe aromas of white peaches, melon, and flowers but the unmistakable minerality, salt, and seashell quality of Muscadet that lingers underneath those primary notes are what is truly special.
