Yakuza House

Nice little sushi place. Pricey for the portions. Portions are very small, the presentation on the sushi was plain. Single sushi orders had a better presentation. The rice bowls had a good portion and presentation. Everything we tried was very good. The spicy sushi we tried was not at all spicy but was good. The salmon belly was really good and I recommend this highly. I was not highly impressed with the whole experience because I left hungry and would not return here for a second trip. The sushi portions are very small.

The food was great but my wife and I both got pretty sick from some suspiciously sour tasting strawberry sandwiches. There were some darker spots on the bread and we didn't pay any mind to it. Within 24 hours of eating here we became very ill. The sushi tasted great (the sandwich was off and possibly moldy) and the staff were very polite but it was absolutely, without a doubt, the cause of some pretty rough food poisoning.

Some of the best sushi, I’ve ever had! Staff was extremely knowledgeable n super friendly! Can’t wait to go back!!!

This was my second time dining at Yakuza and it was even better than the first . We were able to get seats at the handrolling table and it was quite the experience. Everything was fresh from the food to drinks . We tried some very unique combinations of sushi and it did not disappoint. We will definitely be back

Yakuza House 2740 Severn Ave, Metairie, LA 70002 The last time I came to Yakuza House was at the smaller location, which was years ago. As I recalled before, the food is still astronomically delicious! When I stated that everything from start to finish was WOW, it was literally that darn good! If you haven't yet, you gotta swing by this place! 1. Crispy Rice 4 pieces of fried sushi rice with a choice of salmon, tuna or both. Garnished with garlic almond chili oil, spicy kewpie, unagi sauce, and sprouts. 2. Kurobuta Pork Ribs 3 ribs with sweet thai glaze. 3. Tako-yaki 4-pcs - fried octopus balls w/ katsu and kewpie sauce, bonito flakes. 4. Mushroom Udon Carbonara (favorite) shimeji, shiitake, and king mushroom with jidori egg in a garlic butter sauce. 5. Yakido chicken, egg-salad, cabbage, truffle kewpie, mustard & katsu sauce. 6-7. The best!!!

Yakusa is one of the best places to get sushi in the GNO. The pricing may be a little high, but it is well worth the price for the quality and taste. Our server was wonderful and spot-on with her recommendations.

Came in one night rather on the late side, they were getting ready to close shop but they let me sit down and eat! That was very nice of them! The sushi was amazing and even the Chicken teriyaki bowl that I had was very delicious!
