Founded in 1965 by George Cunningham, WifeSaver began as a way for George to take care of the mounting medical bills brought on by his son, (and now owner) Chris Cunningham’s childhood bout with polio. Known for serving the best Southern Comfort Food. Local favorites include Chicken (Fried, Roasted or BBQ), Fried Fish and Shrimp, Pot Roast, Fried Pork Chops and more. Award-Winning Sides include Macaroni & Cheese, Green Beans, Turnip Greens, Fried Okra, Broccoli Casserole and so much more.
