Brilliant bands, mobbed, fantastic atmosphere, cool venue and a great choice of beers. A must go in Edinburgh.

Worst bar in town. Not Polite, Beer is disgusting and the Girl with all the Metal in her face is just the worst

I've visited a couple of times recently after a few years of not frequenting the establishment and, unfortunately, the same old problems persist. The prices are still a bit steep and some of the clientele are just plain rude. There's no need to barge into someone or shove them out the way while they try to orient themselves with the layout.

We were here at the beginning of March 2024 ended up here randomly and had the best time. 4 bands that we saw were excellent especially the Simon Brett band. If you haven't seen them, you must!!
