Did not eat was just not my type of place.

Was there on Saturday. Was absolutely fantastic!

I have always looked forward to getting a few fun cocktails here. But our service today was awful. We ordered drinks and appetizers right when we sat down. Our appetizers came but our drinks never came. The people beside us came after we did and they received their drinks while we waited. We finished one appetizer and nearly finished the other before I had had enough and told the manager. What was said, “Sorry” that's pretty uncool! Sorry is not a great response for such poor service. Especially when the table that arrived after we did, was served their cocktails before we did. Loooooong before we did. This place just became a loser place to me. ONE STAR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

The food was stellar, as usual. The greeters...what's up with their attitude? Every time I've been they are oddly snotty & haute. This lady this time obviously just had an attitude with me and my 2 teenaged kids that were with me. The actual servers were pretty much on the ball, and we were checked on my the manager. My biggest complaint was that the music was entirely too loud (and I'm a music lover, but...) We couldn't hear each other at our table, so we retreated into our cellphones, which we also could not hear. The cake was absolutely perfect. We will go back, but the consistent attitude from the greeters and the loudness means it won't be real soon. Vegetarian options: The vegetables are super good. Lots of options. Especially for appetizers. Dietary restrictions: They do have several gluten free and allergy free options. Parking: It's next to a mall. So tons of parking. Kid-friendliness: I personally wouldn't bring a toddler or young elementary school aged child to this resturant just because the bar is such a huge feature of this resturant. But I have watched other people navigate the setting and the menu with younger children well. My teens love this resturant because of the desserts. I watched one family come in carrying a sleeping toddler and they laid him on a couch / table setting nearby which worked extremely well. Wheelchair accessibility: Super easy for the walkers and wheelchairs to access all parts of this resturant. Even getting to the restrooms is a nice, clear path. And the restrooms are nice.

Loved the atmosphere, but it just went downhill from there. We ordered the butcher block (meh), the ribeye, and the whiskey cake (dry meh - the cream on the plate helped) to get the whole experience. When the ribeye came out, it looked really small and lacked fat. My redneck brain said, "Darn highfalutin chefs trimmed off the best parts!" The waitress completely ignored my order and gave me a filet. When I asked what kind of bull this ribeye was from, she went on to tell me it was a special cut of filet. My face hides nothing. She said, "Oh, you ordered the ribeye?" ... They did make it right. It was an experience, but this carnivore was not impressed. Not with a ribeye that costs $40. And it wasn't even Wagyu. We won't get into the whiskey issues. Well, if you came this far... They have a chalkboard that you would think was up to date on their current selection of whiskey. You would be wrong. We ordered the Eagle Rare Barrel Select that was on the board. Nope, out of stock. The waitress did suggest another (Bardstown, I think), and let us taste her suggestion. It was good, so we got that instead.
