What a fantastic place, very friendly staff. Amazing food, very enjoyable relaxed atmosphere
What a place. Jon, John and team couldn't do a better job. Matter of time until they have a Michelin star. Get in before September when it happens or you'll be paying far more for this wonderful experience. A delight!
Fantastic experience, will definitely be going again. John front of house, great communication booking a table, and accommodating us when we almost didn’t make it.
Excellent night at wts, the food was amazing from beginning to end and we were looked after so well by the front of house team. John the restaurant manager was an absolute delight, friendly, knowledgeable and added so much to our experience. Dietary restrictions: Excellent provision for a gluten free diet
Could not fault it! Great to have a Michelin guide restaurant in Masham! and the food and service lives up to this. Cant wait to revisit
Went here with my parents for my 30th birthday - it was truly a special evening that I will remember. Fine dining without the pretentious feel, we felt welcome from the moment we walked in. The menu was perfect all around and very well balanced considering the restaurant's emphasis on cooking over fire and smoke. I was particularly fond of the leek and potato soup which tasted nothing like any leek and potato soup I've had before. The chef elevated a classic dish to otherworldly levels and the soup packed great umami flavours. The whole experience was certainly matched by the service. Both front of house staff were extremely friendly and had extraordinary attention to detail.
Amazing, attentive service and totally delicious food with emphasis on quality and flavour. The menu is 7 courses and very cleverly changes from one flavour to another complimenting each. Also a great choice of drinks from local distillery. We sampled one of thd Masham gins, vodka & Rum.
