What-A-Burger

Ridiculously long wait. I understand that it's lunch time but many people had to ask for their money back. They did not seem to be prepared and maybe lunch time snuck up on them.

When I saw “ what a burger “ I was thinking the one in Tx but it’s not. They are still pretty good it’s a old school burger stand feel. Chili was delicious and the apple pie was good

I'm from Texas, so I'm a huge fan of Texas Whataburger. Not the same, but still very good. Tater bites were delicious too. We were out on our motorcycle and there's no place to sit inside, but we did see two covered benches back behind the building after we were done eating. We'll be back.

Great food, long lines! Worth it though

Not the same experience I remember from years past. Just subtle things, like the meat (not the same taste/texture), fries (not as potatoey and good even if slightly cold), and "feel" of the service/help. Still looks the same.... I guess it's just progress !!! Don't mind waiting for hot, cooked to order food, as long as I get it hot Guess I'll have to wait for summer ☀️ I've been eating fries from here since this picture was taken

Service kind of slow..

Aaron helped me at the register, it was my first time here and he helped with all my questions and held a super calm and productive point of service. I’ll be coming back for sure!

My husband and I decided on the spur of the moment to drive from Portsmouth for a burger. Hadn't been here in quite a while. The waiting area was pretty full and the back was super busy. Inspite of this everyone seemed patient and willing to put in the time for a great burger. A smiling young woman in a VA Tech sweatshirt patiently and efficiently took the orders. She was doing double duty of taking orders and handling them out as they were ready. She never missed a beat. In the midst of all this a customer returned with a single that was supposed to be a double. This was also handled cheerfully and smoothly with an apology. The backlog cleared and our food was ready. Two singles and an apple pie and a diet pepsi. Both burgers were perfect and as ordered. Apple pie was piping hit and crunchy. Stay with us What A Burger!
