I buy sandwiches from this place almost every day. And more than once I heard employees speak Romanian to each other, in the presence of numerous clients. Do they discuss each customer and speak their own language so that others do not understand? This morning I went in for another purchase. The woman who takes orders was talking to a client. I waited for her to finish and turn to me. I waited for about two minutes and she spoke, what should I give you? I said what I wanted and suddenly she started talking again with the previous client, and then again asked me, with a questioning expression on her face, what did you want? I tell her what I already said. She says I didn’t hear. I replied that it was very rude of her to start a conversation with one customer and then ignore what I asked, starting a conversation with another person at the same time. To which she made such an expression on her face as if I owed her money and began to argue. She says the other person has diabetes and that he is older than her and something else.... I have never heard a stupider excuse, and anyway, why argue? I repeated to her three times that it’s rude to start a conversation with one and ignore what he says when talking to another. I think she still didn’t understand what I wanted to tell her. I don’t want to sound like a racist or a nationalist, but do Romanians have different concepts of culture and manner of communication? For example, I am also a newcomer. But I patiently waited in line, waited for a question about service, and in the end they simply ignored me, citing ridiculous reasons. Very disappointing.
Very nice bakery. The romanian girl Mihaela she it's a good customer service , very friendly and helpful .
Very good customer service and really good coffee and sandwiches, great prices ! Shout out to Alexandra who went above and beyond with my queries, thank you
Food is fresh and delicious, the cappuccinos, latte and regular coffee or tea seemed to be poured into the cups only half way, The polish woman there is very unfriendly she works like a robot by commanding and is not fun to be served by. The Asian ladies are more relaxed and helpful , good location next to station and in the middle of Wembley though.
OMG! Excellent customer service to the innocent customers !! I don’t want her any bad that’s why I don’t want to flash her name…But she was so rude & only in rushing that when these customer will go out & let’s close the shop fast… !!! Amazing lady!!
Compared to Gregg's this bakery is heaven. The employees are always friendly and the food is good.
I have been a loyal Wenzel's customer but for some reason in this branch was met with a strange attitude. Apparently they couldn't pour tea into my reusable cup because it doesn't fit under their machines. I never had this problem in other branches. Does this branch have different machines to the one at Wembley Central? Eventually they poured the tea into my reusable cup from a disposable cup (do you think this helps to reduce the waste?). Then the operative serving me was very keen to find out where I was from. When I stated, that I can't see how this question is relevant to the fact I am buying a tea and a doughnut, she suggested I must be Romanian. To my reply that I am not Romanian, she asked again where I was from. I again replied that this is irrelevant. She insisted she can speak Romanian "for me", which I never asked for as I have no problem communicating in English. Why did she need to know about my background? Is this how you collect demographic data about your customers?
