Cute little diner spot, very slow when my wife, daughter and I stopped in - maybe 3 or 4 other tables. The waitress took our order and disappeared until the food was ready 45 minutes later. I had to walk around and find a coffee pot to refill our cups after we realized she wasn't coming back. Blueberry pancakes were dry and french toast was burnt on one side. Terrible service, subpar food.
Great local restaurant for a quick meal.
The view is very pretty. We spent over $30 for a cup of god awful chili with spaghetti in it, a cup of vegetable soup that tasted like a can, a hamburger that was grilled on one side and steamed on the other and kid-sized, a country ham sandwich with one slice of ham, underdone and cold crinkle fries and nondescript coleslaw. Without a doubt the worst lunch I’ve ever had.
Great food, friendly service, but a bit out of date with the building. I understand it's an older building but it's looked the same for 20 years. The backroom view is great getting to see the boats and barges on the river. The kiddos enjoy that!
