Water's Edge

Cracking cuisine and friendly atmosphere, highly recommended, shame the pods don't have infra red heating lamps.

Since our exceptionally good visit in summer 2023 The Waters Edge has had a change of ownership, I have to be totally honest and say I feel the food & service are not quite what they were, although this is still a beautiful location and worth a visit.

Lovely pub. They were very busy and we hadn’t booked - just coming in cold from a rainy day in the river. They still managed to get us in. Outdoor pod with heating and it was lovely. Food was great (Sunday roast), with plenty of meat and the starters we had were great too.

Stopped here for lunch after a walk. We sat outside next to the river, the location couldn’t be any better. Excellent food and great service. Will definitely visit again in future.

One of the best gastro pubs we have visited, the food choices were great, as were the choice of drinks. Well worth a visit

My friends and I shared an excellent celebratory evening meal at the Water Edge. Jill and her friendly team were very welcoming and went above and beyond to accommodate us. Highly recommend! FYI the feather of beef was outstanding!
