Waterloo Tea

Awful customer service. Booked my mother onto the barista training course which cost £60. My mum was unable to attend the date I ordered so visited the store and was told that it would be absolutely fine to change the date, I would just need to email Adam. Well this is where it all went wrong, Adam informed me (5 days waiting for a response from him) that I wouldn’t be allowed to change the course date. All of this contrary to what I was told in store. I’ve emailed Adam back on two occasions now and despite a whole week passing I’m still yet to receive a response. I’ve even called the store to request someone be in touch and again no one has got back to me. I remember when they used to put customers first, this seems to no longer be the case. Terrible service from what used to be a nice friendly independently run coffee shop

Food was delicious and portion sizes were good. Staff very friendly and service was prompt.

We pop in every Sunday morning for breakfast and we are always greeted with warm friendly smiles from the girls especially Aoiffa aplogies for spelling who has added our names to the greeting xx

Lovely lunch and tea

Nice cosy tea room on the Waterloo Gardens and I am happy to return here when I am in the area again.

Really nice lunch of avocado toast (ve) with delicious Miso butter. Surprising and scrumptious. Cake and coffee too. And when I expressed that I found the coffee not quite to my taste, I was immediately made a replacement which was lovely. The service was friendly and efficient and the atmosphere was warm and cheerful. I arrived just before it got quite busy so I had a lovely seat in the window with happy people coming in and out. Altogether a lovely lunch. Thanks! Vegetarian options: About 10 options from 14? are vegetarian or vegan. Loads of choice. Kid-friendliness: Babychinos and accessible with pushchairs. Lots of children were coming and going. All seemed to be welcome and accommodated.

Me and my friend popped in for a light lunch, after a long walk. It was lovely! The brioche buns were so soft and the egg was cooked to perfection. Lovely staff especially the lady who serve us, i believe her name was Kira. Besides the great company, the coffee was great. I most definitely would recommend to a friend !! Thank you
