Wah Lai Yuen Bakery + Restaurant 華麗園

Fast, efficient no nonsense service. Food is exactly what they say it is and obviously homemade. The price is not cheap but you know your getting what you pay for... Everytime. From conversations with the staff they are paid well, rent can't be cheap here. Yet they deliver what they say they will deliver EVERYTIME. I'm sorry, do it right or go home, or go here, you won't be disappointed.

Love the beef brisket lo mein, beef is very tender but the sauce is a bit salty, I'll knock down one star! Restaurant is clean, will try the bakery next time visit!

Visited here Sunday bought some bakery way overpriced and not good, will not shop here again

My first time at this Bakery as I saw it online and had a good review. But when I get home to try my honey buns they were so burnt on the bottom.

I was there yesterday around lunchtime for takeout, I asked for 6 BBQ Pork Buns, paid then got a box and left, while back home opened the box I found something else instead, see pictures. it’s too far for me to go back for exchange. That’s okay.

We took home Chinese curry buns and beef buns. They were awesome. There is a restaurant here and we had the duck and pork belly. Delicious. The waiter was extremely nice and helpful.

Definitely worth the drive to get the food and service is always wonderful, on point some of the best food I've had in a very long time

Was so happy to find one of my favorite HK style rice dishes in Victoria. Just to find out it’s so salty that it’s pretty much inedible… Do better

Love this place! The BEST authentic bbq duck and bbq pork belly - crispy crunchy skin with juicy flavourful tender meat. Also hands down the best place for egg rolls! At first we hesitated to order our take out New Years meal from here, but we are sooo glad we did! This is now our absolute favourite place in all of Victoria for flavourful, delicious and authentic Chinese cuisine. A must try - and when you do - you will be back:)
