Voodoo Taco

Excellent location, I love visiting restaurants in the old market, the layout is Excellent, spacious with generous amount of seating The exposed wood and brick.. Brisket nachos. Generous portion, huge chunks of brisket perfectly cooked absolutely delicious. Zombie tots are a favorite of mine that I've had at other Voodoo tacos and this place absolutely nailed it, we highly recommend. Street tacos... Blackend fish.. good flavor.. Carne asada.. excellent, and they come with lime... Baha fish.. moist, perfectly cooked, excellent presentation Baha shrimp, perfection, lovely flavors, delicious.. Both were served with avocado and I love that.. My wife had steak fajitas minus pepper and Pico, she looked at me and said that they are amazing and she would eat them again. She also has a fried chicken taco with no pico, she says it reminds her of the snack wraps that you can get at some restaurants but considerably better, she is also a fan of the fact that it has corn, she said she would eat this again.. Cheesecake tacos for dessert.. Since we want to try all of the flavors, we have them do chocolate strawberry and caramel on each of the two. ...... YOU.MUST.TRY.THIS. both me and my wife absolutely love this desert, thick Rich flavor, perfect crispy shell, As we are eating this, we have a thought and we will try it next time, order it with the sauce on the side and you could pick this up dip it and eat it. Nikki, made us fried oreos, it's not on the menu yet but I would absolutely recommend that you asked for her, then ask for these cookies. You can see the video of them in my review, these are amazing. Final thoughts.. Cambodia is absolutely love this restaurant, we will be coming back and we will be requesting the fried Oreos..

Person that took our order was nice but was not great at communicating. It took us a long time to order, the menu was also very confusing. The bartender was very rude. I asked for a frozen margarita and he responded with "we don't have frozen margaritas" and walked away. It was just uncalled for to be that way to someone trying to order a drink. Clearly lacked customer service. The food was underwhelming. The price was too high. We paid almost $80 worth of food for 2 adults and 4 kids and none of us were full by the time we were finished. We also had to clean our table because it was dirty from the people sitting there previously. Appently no one was making sure the tables got cleaned. It was very disappointing. Won't be going back.

I was excited to see a new fast food restaurant in the old market so I’ve been in twice to check it out. The remodel looks great! But so far, I’m otherwise not really impressed. The food was good but prices are ridiculous and service is terrible. They only had 2 employees in there and the guy taking orders was apparently too busy to also serve the food. Multitasking was not his specialty that’s for sure. I saw my order sitting in the window behind him for at least 5 minutes before he had a chance to bring it to me. But there were hardly any customers in the place There was a group of 3 girls in line ahead of me and it literally took 25 minutes for me to order my $17 burrito and receive it. No napkins, no silverware, no hot sauce… I also HATE places that expect a tip BEFORE I even get my order. He definitely didn’t earn that tip at all! I won’t be back!

Had the Chicken Fajita bowl and, while good overall, not very creative and nothing to taste different than something made at home. Ordered iced tea but told to go drink fountain that has pre made sugared up tea. Blah. Also ate at voodoo on a Friday at lunch no one else was in the place. Hmmm. Might return to try again.
