Was traveling back to SC when I felt the need for dinner and totally on a whim chose this place and it was a WINNER! Bread was spectacular. Crusty and soft. Wedding soup was exquisite. My dinner...wow. Just so well done. Service great. Atmosphere a 10. Thanks for a memorable meal.
Probably the best Italian food my husband and I have ever had. The service is fast and friendly. We had to wait for a table but it was not very long to wait and it was definitely worth it. 10/10 Parking: Get there early if you want to find parking
The best Italian in Asheville hands down!!! We’ve eaten here enough to try everything on the menu and our favorites many times… The food is always great, and the service is top notch. We bring our two young kids, and we feel like family. The atmosphere is fun and awesome for a family, first date, or a nice couples dinner.
Garlic knots were dry and hard. Famous?! Pasta...unbelievable they can't have fresh made pasta at these $20+ prices. You can literally make pasta from just flour, eggs, water and salt. The responses from you, The Owner, are tactless and downright false regarding the affordability of waitstaff. I am very upset I tried this place. Pay your employees you sack of garbage.
I think the gratuity for the kitchen staff is stupid. I give a 20%+ gratuity for waited service. I had to subtract the kitchen gratuity so the waiter got screwed. I will never go back to vinnies.
Always consistent. Love to share the family meals with 4 people.... usually take some home.
Just got back from Vinnies South. First and last time I will ever eat there. Super crowded and they don’t take reservations. We got there at 6:30. We got seated at 7:30pm. We were ready to order but the waitress didn’t realize it until we insisted. We had an hour to look at the menu! Salad comes in about 20 minutes. The entrees took another hour to get there! The spinach was full of raw garlic and the chicken Marsala sauce was merely okay. My sister’s clams were rubbery and also full of raw garlic. Eggplant was dry and the sauce looked like tomato paste. Don’t waste your money! Or your time. We left the house at 6:00pm and got home at 10:00pm. Bye bye Vinnie!
Very good food, friendly staff, we brought a few cup cakes for birthday. The staff sang for us. Thank you, everyone, for great food and a wonderful time with friends. Parking: They open at 4:30. After 5:00 or 5:30 it gets crowded and the parking fills up. Worth the wait.
