Victoria Sushi

Annoyed that we got an automatic 18% tip added to our bill because we were a party of 5. I can understand 8 or more but 5?! There wasn't any signage of this anywhere that I saw. Would have tipped this anyways, just hate that it was taken out of my hands. If you're going to add mandatory tip amounts, just raise prices and don't allow tipping, it's the same thing. And listen, if you're going to do this, the tip HAS to be on the PRE-TAX AMOUNT. I didn't notice until after I left that my automatic tip was based on the post-tax amount so I won't be back, there's lots of other sushi places around.

I came in for dinner with a friend and we both spent well over $100 each, the service was excellent and the food was great until I ordered a chicken teriyaki rice bowl to go…when I arrived at home and went to enjoy my take out order, I couldn’t believe how much sauce was in the container, my entire order was swimming in it, to the point that the rice was mush (I couldn’t even eat it, and I’m a person who loves saucey dishes). I took 2 bites and had to throw the entire thing out….when I called the restaurant a few days later to inquire about it, the gurl on the phone was absolutely no help….I figured being a regular there and spending the kind of money that me and my friends normally do there that maybe they would do something for me (like offer to remake it for me or even a small discount on a future order) but instead she hung up on me after saying “that’s just how we make it”. Very disappointing experience considering how the other night went when my friend and I dined in :-(

Great place! Staff are super friendly and recognize me every time. Sushi is very good - top 5 in the area for sure.

A great hidden spot at the save on plaza. Really good and yummy bento lunch deals. Good service and atmosphere.

A favourite Sushi restaurant to meet with family. Large booths & large tea mugs - both get a thumbs up from me. Food is consistently delicious. Staff is friendly and service is quick. A great local stop!

Over the last 5 years I've stopped in when I'm in the area and needing a snack. I've always had good experiences, including today. Attentive staff, clean, and consistently fresh and tasty food. The only thing I regret about dining here is that I should have left a review sooner - highly recommended!
