Verandah - The Park

Worst place to have food. Please do not visit.

We visited this buffet restaurant for the first time to celebrate my son's birthday and opted for lunch. The ambiance and pool side view is spectacular. But, the buffet is not up to the mark as to what we expect from a premium hotel like THE PARK. There are only 2 veg and non veg starters, which are basically very limited options to choose. The salads section was a huge spread. Rest all are very limited, whether it is the gravies or rice items. The dessert section is also not up to the mark. Pizzas, pastas, and ice cream are also available and served at the table when requested. The lunch buffet starts at 12.30 noon and ends at 3.30 pm. We have opted for a 1.30pm slot. By the time we finished our soup starters and main course, the dessert section was almost empty. We requested the staff to refill the same, but they were over enthusiastic in closing the buffet section door instead of serving us. One more thing, almost all the items were served cold, which leaves a doubt on the freshness of the items. We have paid the bill thru Zomato Gold Carnival and still feel it is not worth that 50% payment also

Nice place for a quiet lunch.
