I has a mixed experience at Vchos Truck My family and I recently were at Vchos Truck and ordered a variety of dishes. We were excited to try the Plátano Plate, Beans & Cheese Pupusas (Vegetarian), and Loaded Steak Fries. While our expectations were high, the experience had its ups and downs. Firstly, let me commend the waitress who was handling everything alone. Despite our order being a bit mixed up, we understood the situation and appreciated her efforts. The mix-up wasn't a dealbreaker, as we could see the challenging circumstances she was managing. However, I must say that the Tomato salsa lacked the burst of flavor we were hoping for. It felt a bit lackluster and left us craving more taste to complement our dishes. Moving on to the food, the Plátano Plate was a double-edged sword. While it had a delectable taste, the greasiness was a bit overwhelming. It would have been perfect with a touch less oil, but we still enjoyed the flavors and unique combination. The Beans & Cheese Pupusas were indeed delicious, though a tad on the greasy side as well. The gooey cheese and well-seasoned beans were highlights, but again, the excess grease slightly took away from the experience. Vchos Truck has been a go-to spot for us on numerous occasions, and it's unfortunate that this visit didn't live up to our previous experiences. I still stand by my recommendation, as I believe this place usually delivers tasty and satisfying food. It's worth noting that we'll likely choose a day when there's more than one person working to ensure a smoother dining experience. In conclusion, while our recent visit to Vchos Truck had its flaws, I believe it was an outlier. The potential for a fantastic meal is definitely there, and I'm looking forward to returning on a day when the staff has more support to truly enjoy the delicious offerings this place has to offer.
