The concept of this place is wonderful, and I could see myself coming back for food and beer. However, I would never order the cocktails again as the vast majority are very sugary containing red bull or mountain dew which isn't really my thing, plus they were quite pricy. I'll visit again and do some actual gaming next time though. Overall, a cool place!
While the idea is cool, and the atmosphere has potential to be a fun time, it is bogged down with a lot of gross and inappropriate content, that just isn't necessary. Now, the actual substance of your visit (food, drinks, games) is all fine. They've got a decent game selection. The particular pizza (Piranha Plant) I had was pretty good, and the apple cider was alright. But, the establishment is full of signs such as the LGBTQ+ flag, and the "Black Lives Matter" organization. There's also, for example, another LGBTQ+ flag that says "f### around and find out". So, know what you're getting yourself into. Now, static flags and posters are one thing, at least those can be ignored. The worst part of this bar is the music selection. Now, sometimes they play some pretty cool things such as the Wintergatan Marble Machine music video. However, a large chunk of their music consists of very inappropriate choices that are very hard to listen to, such as "Everyday Normal Guy" which aside from the rest of its questionable content, drops an f bomb every verse. And sadly I don't see this changing, as even their own website is riddled with profanity - most of which is directed at the reader by the way... Listen. I get a bar is for adults. That doesn't suddenly mean we need to play a bunch of gross music. People come to a bar like this to have fun with their friends, and while many people will be un-bothered by these things, that doesn't account for everyone. If you're like me, and you want a fun and mature (as in, not childish) time, maybe skip out on Vault 31. Kid-friendliness: Not remotely.
