Uptown Softys

Rain or shine, Softy's at Uptown is the perfect spot to pop in for a quick treat. More than just the delicious dairy-free ice cream — the staff is lovely and genuinely cares about how we're doing when we stop in. We make sure to say 'hi' every time we visit Uptown! Dietary restrictions: The ice cream is dairy-free and delicious. Parking: Lots of free parking on the ground level and in the free parkade. Kid-friendliness: Kids love this place, and the treats are just sweet enough. There's also lots of space to run around in the outdoor square adjacent to Softys at Uptown. Wheelchair accessibility: The order window and displays are accessible and on the main ground level.

Uhh, store brand stock coconut base ice cream with 2 candied cherries and Oreo on top is not Black Forest Disappointing

Love it here, amazing treats! Brett is our fave. Kid-friendliness: He always takes the time to ask my son about his day, most adults overlook this important gesture.

Not only incredible ice cream, but also such a great spot for waffles and hot chocolate in the winter! We met up with a bunch of friends and their kids and enjoyed waffles in the outdoor pods and Uptown. It was a great experience!

Visited in late June. It was a warm day so we were definitely looking forward to some "ice cream". Softys serves dairy-free soft serve and we picked the watermelon and vanilla twist. Kind of refreshing but left a weird aftertaste in my mouth (probably an acquired taste).

Love the sundaes and their changing flavours. Nice for anyone with food allergies!

Met Brett yesterday! I walked by and had to do a double take! They had vegan waffle churros !!!! What??!!!! So I approached and Met Brett. Super friendly, the epitome of customer service no joke! Kudos Brett who gave me a sample of the waffle. And wow! My taste buds were dancing He said the waffles are a trial at the moment but already has regulars asking. The ice cream is absolutely yummy as well. My friend Christina is vegan and that's her go to for ice cream! I highly recommend! A def must try! Thanks Brett for the samples. I'll be back with all my friends!!!
