Twisted Tomato Pizzeria & Beer Wall

Most of the food was great and service excellent. Had ordered the fried ravioli and the sketti zone which both were fantastic tho the sketti zone was a bit burnt. The lava zone tho had to be remade at least once and when I did eventually get it, it wasn’t right. I’d asked for olives instead of jalapeño and got neither and I’m not sure what cheese was put in but it was a white cheese not cheddar. They did refund us the price at that point not sure if I’d go back to this location tho. Normally love the food. Maybe it was just a bad day but if I do go end up returning I’ll revise the review for this location. 4/6/24 update: Again can’t get it right for either calzone… missing toppings/ wrong toppings. Wrong sauce as well as a pool of grease I don’t understand why the stow location is so great but I can’t get one decent order from this location. Also, has the lava zone changed & no longer comes with cheddar cheese? Even when I ask for it I’m not getting cheddar.

Consistently excellent pizza. Located in the Center of DownTown Akron, TT is an amazing place to go before a Rubber Ducks game or an event at Akron Civic Theater.

Food was delicious and the server was very nice and worked above and beyond to make my experience very enjoyable! Will def. Be back

Edited 3.2024 We are sad to say this place has seemed to go downhill. We have recently ordered take out a few times and been extremely disappointed. The menu has not been accurate/followed. For example, the pizza with pasta and garlic bread has lacked garlic bread the last 3 times. Meals denoting dipping sauce are missing it. We now diligently check our takeout order before leaving the restaurant due to experiences. Staff has seen unengaged and uninformed when we ask about the menu. The toppings also seem lighter than pictures. This was our go-to pizza place, but we will be taking a break for a while after recent lackluster experiences. Vegetarian options: Plenty of ways to customize to make things vegetarian friendly!

Would give this place -5 stars if I could, Ordered a Sheet pizza for my family, came up to $55. Had it delivered and when I got it , the pizza was flipped out and not able to be eaten. Called to try to get this figured out , they told me it’s nothing they can do, no manager on sight and I even went down there, the website says 10pm, this place was closed at 9:20.. I swear this situation was like a movie. I would never ever in life order from here again. And this places deletes bad reviews
