Awesome place with very friendly staff.

Sara served us tonight, and we had a fantastic time. She was very friendly, polite, and attentive. We frequently visit and have yet to be dissatisfied with the food. Tonight we ordered the shrimp, cajun chicken pasta, and the bacon cheeseburger. 0 complaints !

We had a large group last night of 9. I have eaten at the turtle jacks in Burlington and Waterdown several times this is the first time trying the upper james location. I found it was too dark in the restaurant. The lighting was quite dim. I had to use my light on my phone to read the dessert menu and there was a nasty draft from the main entrance. It seemed to affect our whole table. The service was good except I had to ask for a refill of my diet coke. She was good about taking alcoholic drink orders and we didn't have to wait long for our food to come out. 4 of us ordered the cajun chicken penne. Also ordered was the deep fried calamari a Greek salad fish-and-chips and chicken wings. The portions were a good size but I did notice an inconsistency in size with the cajun chicken penne's that were ordered. Mine seemed to have a little bit less than the other 3 for some reason. Everyone enjoyed their food. The fish-and-chips was a great size and I found my dinner to be very delicious. The only thing is the person who ordered the calamari said it was too chewy or rubbery it should have been deep fried for longer. I would be down to try this location a second time but I'm not sure how the rest of the group feels. Wheelchair accessibility: There isn't stairs so it's easy to access by wheelchair and they have handicap parking out front

This time I had to say that the restaurant met my expectations, nice place, good atmosphere, very friendly employees and people, the food was delicious and very well presented, I sat near the kitchen and I can say that it looked very organized and clean. Highly recommended, give yourself the opportunity to go and see places that are worth visiting and have a pleasant time. (good cocktails) I hope to return soon
