Ordered the wings from here. It’s obvious they’ve downgraded the quality of their chicken. It’s common practice due to high food costs. I used to enjoy their wings for years but the quality of the chicken wings has gone down.

Dinner was ok. Nothing special. I didn't have the salad but it looked better than their bowls and was a large portion.

I went recently I thought it was very good I would recommend it.

Good lunchtime spot to meet friends....not very busy on a Monday so service was great and food was good but getting into the $20+ range for most meals. The BEEF DIP, single fish and chips and Enchiladas were good portions and tasted well but be prepared for a substantial bill if you are adding drinks. What disturbs me the most about this restaurant...and MANY OTHERS is they are owned by or have exclusive beer contracts with mostly AMERICAN-OWNED COMPANIES (not a "FREE HOUSE" as known in England). As a result they serve ONLY the limited usual suspects. Turtle Jack's labels itself as a "MUSKOKA GRILL" (...and pictures all its food with cottagey backgrounds...)....and yet DOES NOT OFFER ANY PRODUCT FROM MUSKOKA such as LAKE OF BAYS or MUSKOKA BAY BREWERIES to name just two. Wheelchair accessibility: YES....all washrooms on main level....

BLATANT DISRESPECT FROM MANAGER OVER FOOD. I’ve been coming to this specific restaurant since 2018. It held sentimental memories as my daughters father met her when she was 6 months old for the first time as well as his late sister who has recently passed away from cancer a couple years back. So I make it a point to visit this place yearly with my daughter and I order the same dish each time. I order the fried calamari and fish taco. My last visit however will sadly be the last and the tradition has since stopped. I visited February 2024, fried calamari was rubbery in texture not fresh and the garnish looked previously frozen. Each bite hurt my teeth and my daughter was struggling to eat them and opted to just removing the batter and eating that. We had one each I asked for it to be sent back. This must have triggered the manager when it came to my fish tacos, again previous experience the fish in the tacos have been cooked to perfection and not tiny as the ones I received this time. The fish was taco should’ve been called the vegan taco as clearly one fillet was cutt in half and used for both when I ate the taco nothing but salad and dressing. Totally disappointed totally ripped off of my money, I asked the waiter who was very polite and very gracious to please send back and make another I didn’t mind paying for it I just wanted what I paid for fish! Not a mango salad. The manager returned to my table with my bitten taco in hand the rudest face and tone slammed the plate on the table and had the audacity to take a fork and continue to teach me on how there was fish in my taco, that’s correct he was dissecting my taco like a grade 9 science teacher. I was taken aback at his rudeness and attitude especially in the company of my daughter who looked confused and sad at the face I was surely making unaware to the manager. I told the manager ( I don’t know his name he’s a black male with corn rows or twists) I myself am black so please save me in my description. He said that he’s been a manager for the past 1-2 years and that the fish changes. I told him I’m been coming here for years and the fish has not changed and that the quantity is being reduced and that perhaps the chef has changed. Non the less he tried to make me feel so ridiculous that I had to end up showing him pictures of the food that were stored in my phone from yearssssss ago because I am not a liar or a thief and I pay my meals and don’t look for comps when I done out. Please whoever is higher up then this manager please teach your staff to follow the number one rule in customer service. That the customer is always right. I work hard for my money I am single parent and I like for my daughter and I to enjoy excursions here and there and this experience has left a very bad impression.

Overall the food is good but service is slow. First time we went for dinner it was ok but next time we went for lunch it was slow. The place looks nice compared to other Turtle Jack locations.
