True Brew San Jose - Taphouse & Kitchen

Food is just okay. It doesn’t come as advertised, my burger came without tomato (I love tomato) the BBQ pizza came with pineapple on it and had tomato sauce (is this where my tomato went). I really don’t like places that don’t have servers come and take your order…I find more mistakes at places that do online ordering when eating in house. But my two biggest gripes are they are advertised as a place to drink beer where people have flights of various brews and no such ordering is possible online/at the table. I did inquire about the flights and was told that a pencil and paper would be brought to me but none ever arrived. I don’t think it’s the servers fault either he was alone doing an entire room of almost 75 people by himself. I won’t be returning.

You order on your phone, so there isn’t really any service. We went this evening, and it was so loud we were shouting over the 2 person high top table. Dj’s cologne was so bad it filled the space. Giving 2 stars for the beer selection, though

Today I went to the place, I sat at the bar and they ignored me for 15 minutes, I got up and left. I went to a nearby bar and was drinking beer within 2 minutes. If you like being ignored you will like this place, but if you like getting to a place and being served in a reasonable time, look for another place.

This is a solid place to go to and have some great drinks. The craft beer selection is insane and the cocktails are great. The food is good, and the walls are covered with some awesome graffiti murals of the bay area teams !

Wonderful staff that are courteous and knowledgeable. Letting me try couple different beers before I pick mine up! The Pilsner are light but with good body and full of flavor. . I would likely to come back to try something else! Burger is good also. It’s meaty and tastes good! The chicken strips are just okay! You you like to watch sports and have a beer, this is the place for you! Parking: Free parking, parking entrance is next to the front door! Lots space when we visited on the Friday afternoon.

Stopped there for quick shot. Place ambience is nice but they closed at 8 pm at friday night. Very close from Sharks stadium. Decent craft beers on tap. Did not try the food.

Was closed Monday, tried to call Tuesday and this phone number didn't go through. Are they gone?

Sat at the bar before a weekday Sharks game and our tender was great! Better dark/stout selection than i expected. Would get a better review if they could get their overall presence coordinated. Hours are different everywhere you look on the internet. Tried to call a couple different numbers and they are all disconnected.

Says they're open until 8 Showed up at 7:15 Closed and dark. Great job y'all. And on a night the Sharks play. So much for local support.

Great quiet place. Food was good.
