Tropical Smoothie Cafe

Healthy and great taste. Used to be a favorite of mine, but they keep raising their prices AND reducing portion sizes. their loyalty/rewards program could use a massive overhaul. better tasting smoothies than smoothie king and a much better value. UPDATE: 10min+ drive thru, and they took off the best menu item chicken caprese!

Waited at the drive tru speaker forever and kept being told to wait. I just left terrible customer service. I don’t blame the employees I blame management

1st off let me start by saying this place really disappointed me. I ordered a chicken wrap & my chicken was undercooked & cold. When I told the manager she seemed annoyed & said she can make it again but I had already been waiting almost an hr for everything else . I sat down & attempted to eat the other half of my wrap but that chicken was also raw & was even missing a topping I asked for. At this point I asked for another 1. I sat back down with my family & waited some more. I waited so long I got up to ask the manager how much longer & she became very rude & started raising her voice at me to the point where 2 employees were holding her back. I hope this store has cameras & can see her behavior because she clearly needs to learn proper customer service skills. She says she felt I was rude & I never once cursed or raised my voice at her. I was very calm but a bit upset. I never write reviews but, felt I was treated very poorly tonight & would like to warn other about this place . On top of this she claims she didn't know she charged me a tip I never agreed to which she then offered me a shake instead of refunding me the $. I would've tipped even more if the service provided was appropriate but , I will never come here again . I didn't ask for a full refund because apparently that's not an option at this place . There was a gentleman sitting down eating his food & told me he couldn't beleive her attitude. My husband was outside waiting for me & had to walk in to see what was happening since he saw her arguing with me through the glass windows.

I'm not sure what is going on with the Canal RD location, but the last few smoothies I have ordered have not been very good. I typically order the Detox Island Green and the last ones I ordered did not have any flavor to them, it was seriously missing the Ginger, Pineapple and Mango. It was as if someone just put the Kale and Spinach in the blender with water and no ice. If this keeps up, I won't be back. Plus it wasn't busy at the drive through.

Service was friendly. Restaurant is clean. Other than the two females working who had extra long hair that wasn’t up everything was good. The blond had hers half up and half down in a hair clip. The other girl had VERY long loose dreadlocks. It’s been a long time since I worked in the restaurant world and back then we had health inspections. Maybe it’s different. Overall, the food was great as it always is.

The food was good. I got the turkey-cheddar wrap. My smoothie was also great, I got the kiwi-quencher. Me and my friends went here about 3 days ago. We would definitely recommend this place and would come back if we lived here .

Waited forever in the drive thru, my corn bowl was smooshed flat, my wrap was so terribly wrapped that it all fell apart when I opened it.
