Traveling Mercies is a neighborhood oyster and cocktail bar from Caroline Glover, James Beard Foundation Award-winning chef and a Food & Wine Best New Chef. The menu muses raw bar favorites — like oysters and shrimp cocktails — paired with comfort food classics like shrimp cocktails and wedge salads. Equal parts cocktail bar and raw bar, the beverage side of Traveling Mercies offers refined and intentional cocktails, with a particular interest in the bitter delights of aperitivos and the breadth and versatility of rum. Wines will skew coastally influenced, boasting acid and salinity to complement the seafood-centric menu, with a selection of non-alcoholic offerings available by the glass and bottle.
