Authentic Italian cuisine, thoughtfully crafted and lovingly prepared. A gem of the Temecula restaurant scene.
Not sure how this placed is rated highly. Went with daughter and wife. Tried Lasagna which was best dish . Pesto was pretty flavorless, also Gnocchi with sausage was pretty blah. Waiter seemed perturbed that we didn't order more than 2 glasses of wine. Can't believe they don't carry more local Temecula wines? And please tell your waiter to stop saying " Hasta la Pasta"....after a couple times it becomes a little old.
Every bite was a delicious delight! Fabulous food!
Excellent authentic Italian food. Great service. They care more about your experience unlike the other Italian restaurants in town that want to get you in and out as fast as they can.
The food is delicious. Homemade pasta is always the best, and that is what they serve. However, prices have gone up 26% since I've started coming here in 2021.
Incredable 10 out of 10 everything we tried was delicious. True Italian all the way. The sangria was over the top!
Fun spot in Temecula for a big group of 20. Solid food, very good service to manage it all - and a nice setting. Room was a little loud - but could have been our crew. Well worth the visit!
"Most importantly to me, the food here is fresh, not frozen, and the kitchen does not have a microwave." - My wife and I got dressed up and ate dinner here for the first time. We were seated promptly and greeted by a knowledgeable and courteous waitress, who made recommendations, and was attentive throughout the evening. The bread had been baked fresh in the kitchen, then sliced fresh before serving with oil and balsamic vinegar. The appetizer, drinks from the bar, then the main course came out quickly, with good timing between each, despite there being a decent amount of customers. The wood fired margherita pizza was very good, but the special of the day -chilean sea bass served with capers and lemon over rigatoni pasta mixed in pesto- was superb. They had different options to serve the special over (greens vs pasta and different sauce options), and I really wasn't sure. The waitress made a recommendation for us without making me feel bad for not knowing what the options really meant. We passed on dessert, but will order next time. Most importantly to me, the food here is fresh, not frozen, and the kitchen does not have a microwave. The atmosphere was intimate, the lighting was perfectly slightly dim, the seating was comfortable, and the table and silverware was clean. The business seemed to attract well-mannered middle aged patrons who dressed semi formal or formal for their date or family night. No children running amok, or loud, drunk sports bros. If I had to be critical, the menu I received was dirty, crusted, and stained. I wanted to wash my hands after touching it. 5 stars, will return monthly.
Kate, the event manager, and Pietro, the owner, are WONDERFUL. We LOVE the food and recently decided to do a private rehearsal luncheon there. Kate bent over backwards to accommodate our needs and it was very reasonably priced. The restaurant vibe is great, too! Thank you Trattoria Toscana!
