Great, authentic Italian food with an even better service. Had great interactions with one of the owners at the table - will be back next time in Florence.

Delicious meals, nice staff and beautiful ambience. We had rigatoni, talgiatele with boar meat and Florentine steak. All especially the rigatoni and steak were amazing and good portion size. The house wines were also great. I definitely recommend this restaurant for an enjoyable lunch!

Posto molto accogliente

My hotel made a reservation for 8 o’clock and I arrived promptly at eight. A remarkably rude female hostess at the door at first refused me because she said they only take 7:30 PM and 9:30 PM reservations and I had missed my chance for a table. After the manager was in earshot, suddenly, I was taken to a bar seat where she kept saying “This is a much better seat anyway than any table”. It was in a remarkably small space, I could not sit without sliding off, and I had a prime view of the top of a diner’s head which was no fun for either of us. I had to prop a leg up on a pillow and sit on an angle. The manager came over and said he was sorry the seat was so uncomfortable .The waiter took my order and left before I could ask for wine, brought me a coke I didn’t order, not once ever looking at me in the eyes. The manager noticed and brought me a glass of wine, then he brought me a fork, etc. I couldn’t get anyone’s attention for olive oil for the bread, let alone a plate. I wasn’t finished my first course when he again without looking at me, plopped, as in intentionally dropped the plate while flying past, the second course next to my existing course half eaten. By this time I had also seen people being seated at tables at 8:10, 8:30, 8:45, 9:00, 9:15 so was the hostess telling the truth? I just checked and they take bookings for every half hour. WOW. I suffered the rude lying hostess, staring at me then glaring at me the entire 3 meters she walked. The manager was good and helpful , but nothing makes up for the rudest and most abusive hostess I’ve ever met in my life and completely incompetent waiter. I should have left first glare. I have travelled around the world for 40 years and have never seen anything like this. Buyer beware.

Ristorante tipico fiorentino da provare assolutamente. Atmosfera stupenda, personale molto gentile, ci siamo trovati molto bene. Abbiamo mangiato la fiorentina e altre specialità, tutto buonissimo. Suggerisco di prenotare prima perchè è difficile trovare posto soprattutto la sera.
