Beautiful inside, But the manager is grumpy and not very welcoming.
Always worth a visit for decent ale when in Shrewsbury!
Proper cosy little pub, full of character and with a good selection of beers.
The Three Fishes Inn is a 15th Century Building on a tiny, narrow, cobbled road in the medieval part of the city. There was an excellent choice of beers larger and cider, including five cask conditioned hand pulled real ales. The ones we tried were in excellent condition. The staff and locals are very friendly. This great pub is featured in the camra good beer guide. It's one of my all-time favourite pubs. Parking: It's on a tiny, narrow, cobbled street. There is no parking. Wheelchair accessibility: The entrances flat the pub is all on one level one room easy access for wheelchairs
Proper traditional real sleep pub with well-kept and expertly poured beer. No music, friendly staff and a small selection of board games make it a great place for a few quiet pints with friends.
Visiting Cheshire Just by luck we visited Shropshire and the town of Shrewsbury surroundedby the beautifull river severn to which i was surprised, what a beautiful town lots going on and well worth another visit that we will plan, not knowing the town we strolled into the three fishes for a bite to eat, well impressed with the service the food and the staff we had sandwiches with superb chips and side salad and a pot of tea, will definitely return in the summer to spend a week in the town that needs to advertise all its character and charm
We only had a beer but its a nice pub.
