This little pub has an interior that does not seem to fit with the style of the outer shell. The low beamed ceiling and stone flagged floors give the impression of an old country pub. Lunchtime service is Sunday only. Evenings missing a few weekdays. Food menu is varied and good valuee. Do visit quite regularly, always well cooked and good quality produce. Meals sampled were and ample serving. Have often passed by, well worth dropping in, booking advisable if intending to eat there.
Had a wonderful meal last night!! Tempura prawns were amazing and the venison cooked two ways was delicious not to mention baileys & white chocolate cheesecake to follow. Very reasonable for what we had, freshly cooked to order, highly recommend!
Lovely quaint pub with amazing home cooked food
Excellent food, very homely atmosphere.
Never disappoints. Always excellent food and friendly service
Beautiful food and service was excellent 10 out of 10
Excellent food as it has been each time we've been. Not a large selection of drought beers, but I always get one I enjoy. The host is always pleasant and smiling. The waitress was attentive and took our poor jokes very well. Shame it was a little quiet on the night we last visited, but it was January. If you want quality food This is place to go.
