we were very disappointed with the quality if the food we were served.. I had been driving a long time.e wirh my elderly Mum and were very hungry. we chose this for its location to have a nice view whilst we ate.. mums food was so hard it was inedible and the soups origin was questionable.. we were offered a discount which was gratefully recieved but we would have preferred to pay full price for the meal we wanted!
Great Service good food, slightly noisy because it was busy.
A real gem of a place, drove past a couple of times and didn't see it, but worth the visit. Sit by the broads with a hot drink and fish fingers sandwich.
Lovely place to eat reasonably priced good access for wheelchair users
Lovely place. Great coffee and some tasty food
Found this place while on holiday last year - our visit coincided with a wedding party setting off by boat across the lake which added interest. Curiosity caused our return this year - the company has another establish at the Eel's Foot end of the lake, where the weddings take place. A beautiful setting, good coffee and cakes; the staff very attentive and friendly. For those with disabilities (blue badge holders) the walking distance between the designated parking spaces and the cafe may be too long to manage. (We parked closer but illegally undo a tree, having on the previous visit asked if it was okay, and were given the go ahead. On leaving this time we were reprimanded - our fault we should have asked again. Parking: Disabled parking area is some distance away from cafe entrance. Although there is a 'drop-off' space. But this useless when all are disabled!
Had a full English breakfast. Sausages wad very very nice. My wife had pancakes and she enjoyed them. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp leading to entrance and inside all on one level.
