Worth the drive out. Beautiful, huge flower market with bakery and restaurant. Tomato and fennel soup was a highlight. Gorgeous place to spend a few hours trying their baked goods, if you can find a seat - can get very busy.
On Friday, i visited the Watering Can Vineland location for lunch at the expanded Pastry Cafe. As part of a party of six , i was impressed with the quality of the food and service.. Over the years, I have visited many times and always have been impressed. Although reservations are not accepted for lunch at the cafe, that is not a problem since there is now an expanded seating area. We were seated quickly and the service was friendly and our orders were taken quickly . I ordered The Chicken Apple Brie sandwich. on toasted sourdough bread that came with dressed greens, Absolutely excellent!. Strongly recommend a visit soon for a great culinary experience. .
More to see every time! Like a Costco for plants. Prices seemed quite fair, in my opinion, as well.
El lugar es como un cuento de hadas y la repostería qué venden en la cafetería es de otro nivel.
A must place to go for plants and sweets/ cofee. Price are great
Love this place. So many plant options and for great prices. Staff are very knowledgeable. The cafe is also excellent. Never had anything bad here! I love how there is both take out and dine in options. What a GEM
I love coming to the watering can BUT I’ve noticed after many years of visiting that the quality of service and the plants has declined. When I buy a new plant I isolate it from the others to be safe. I have now noticed a few times during isolating that the plants have a nasty pest problem. Mealy bugs are my latest battle. One time I picked up a plant and brought it to the register and just before she rang it through I noticed something odd on the plant, it had bugs on it. Most likely aphids but they took it away before I could really determine what it was. I want to be done coming here. I really do. I used to come here every week because it was a place of peace for me after a hard day. I’ve spent a lot of money at this store because I love plants but it’s not worth me spending my hard earned money on a plant that is more than likely going to give me a problem. Or risk infecting my other 200+ plants. More time and effort needs to go into pest control. I’ve seen the plants come out in these large boxes from the distributor and can only imagine now what they’re coming in with. I’m conclusion, I will probably be putting my money elsewhere.
