Good food, cheap beer! Had to give up on camping owing to the gales, so packed up and went to Alfreton for (late) breakfast. We were heading for a well-known takeaway shop - that may well be known for their sausage rolls - but passed this place on the way there. Empty bellies said "go in", so we did. Clean pub: Decent food: Decent beer. Would go again.
Good staff clean till they get a lot in and all tablets full of glasses X X plates not like ripley
Nice pub very good service and friendly people had a great evening
Steak night Tuesday. Has been reduced dramatically. A steak and a baked potato on a plate is appalling.
Absolute dump!! Still has breakfast plates out on the tables well after they’ve stopped serving breakfast!
Called Easter Sunday for breakfast waited over 30 minutes then had to ask staff if they had forgotten us then came 5 minutes after it was cold been coming here for along time if it doesn’t improve we will go elsewhere. Disappointed no excuses for food to be cold it wasn’t very busy either
Cosy Wetherspoons with a well presented interior. Ordered two ales that were showing in stock on the app, but neither were available, which was a bit annoying.
